In some of the worst weather conditions the NSJT has faced, the teams from The Golf Practice and Dynamic Golf returned to Highland Park CC for a rematch of the previous week. The tournament on October 3rd is undoubtedly one that the players will never forget. Low 50 degree temperatures, howling winds, and frigid rain whipped across the golf course and treated the players to the worst that midwest fall golf has to offer.
Despite the conditions, many players were able to post very impressive scores. Eli Sherman won Low Medalist for Varsity with his 41. He was followed by Runner Up Will Hulsey’s 42 and Jake Putzel’s 46.
Millan Biggs won Low Medalist for Jr. Varisty with 41, followed by Runner Up Nate Goss, who managed a 46.
The Golf Practice successfully defended its home course, besting Dynamic Golf 221 – 247.
The next match will be held on October 10th at Sportsman’s Country Club in Northbrook.
