Learning the Finer Points (Ages 5-10)
The Junior Essentials program at Canal Shores Golf Course in Evanston offers junior golfers aged 5-10 a class to develop their skills. The program, which runs once-a-week on Wendesdays from 5pm-6pm, is designed for players who are just beginning their golf journey or have limited experience. Through fun and engaging skill stations, students will learn and hone the fundamentals that are necessary for a solid overall game.
With the safety of our students and staff being our main focus, we are asking students to bring their own clubs, balls, tees, snacks, water. Rental clubs are not available this summer. Students and staff are required to arrive wearing a mask, and once they are practicing the required six feet or more of social distancing, they can choose to remove their masks or keep it on. We will use a few training tools that will be shared by students. We will wipe the training tools down with disinfectant after every rotation and provide incoming students with hand sanitizer.
