Deerfield Golf Club played host to the North Shore Junior Tour on October 4th for the 5th tournament of the Fall Season.
The full force of fall weather met the players with temperatures barely creeping over 40 degrees, light rain off and on, and two stoppages for lightning warnings.
Despite the difficult conditions, the golfers made their way through it, with multiple members of The Golf Practice’s Travel Team and Elite Skills Program posting personal tournament low scores.
The Golf Practice finished in first place with a team score of 231, followed by Northbrook’s 248.
Will Hulsey’s 42 was good for Varsity Medalist, followed by Andrew Babbo’s 43. The Golf Practice’s Alex Perlman and Jack Nanberg tied for 3rd with 44s, personal tournament bests for both players.
The Jr. Varsity Division was led by Issa Kuwahara at 43. Charlie Creamean placed solo 2nd with 44, and Lexi Schulman of The Golf Practice finished in 3rd place at 47.
The next and final tournament of the season will be held at Winnetka Golf Club on October 11 with tee times beginning at 1:30.
