Youth Competitive Programs
Committing to Competition
Our Travel League, High School Prep and Varsity Prep programs are for junior golfers dedicated to the game, interested in becoming competitive players and motivated to take their games to the next level.
Through skill and gaming stations, juniors form a competitive edge going head-to-head with each other, and players’ results and progress amid tweaks and swing changes are tracked and measured through technology like TrackMan and data-gathering sessions.
From an 8-year-old playing in their first tournament to an accomplished player in high school, the experience levels are wide-ranging in these three programs, designed to prepare players for major junior tournaments and high school golf.
The first step in that process is competing in The Golf Practice’s Junior Golf Tour events. These 9-hole events occur at area courses in the spring, summer and fall. This introduction to competition is a controlled environment where our students experience the rigors of competition but have our coaches on-site to guide them.
These tournaments offer different divisions according to your tournament experience and the class in which you’re enrolled. A season-long team competition and individual points race sparks a friendly but competitive environment, getting players comfortable and ready for the feelings of tournament golf they will face playing in a U.S. Kids, IJGA, HJGT, AJGA setting, among others.
What’s your goal?
Whether you’re looking to perform your best on a high school golf team or want to play competitively at the college level, The Golf Practice has a program geared toward your needs.
