The summer tournament season moved past the halfway point this past Monday with the fifth scheduled tournament of the season held at Winnetka Golf Club. Winding creeks move throughout Winnetka’s front nine, forcing the players to think through their targets and position the ball around the course.
Host team Winnetka held the low team score of 220, followed closely by The Golf Practice’s 224.
The Varsity Division was led by Max Plasota’s 2-over 37, with Runner Up Isaac Cho posting 41.
Millan Biggs won the Jr. Varsity Division with a 44 after a scorecard playoff over Tyler Wolff’s 44. Sam Kernahan from The Golf Practice placed in 3rd with 45.
The next tournament will be held at Sportsman’s County Club in Northbrook on July 20th.
