A beautiful, breezy Saturday awaited the members of The Golf Practice and Northbrook Golf Academy for their first matchup of the 2015 Fall Season. The North Shore Jr. Tour made its first stop at Sportsman’s Country Club on Saturday, September 12. The Golf Practice and Northbrook Golf Academy went head-to-head in Northbrook, while Winnetka Golf Academy and Dynamic Golf faced off in Winnetka.
Both teams battled the strong winds, gusting near 30mph at times, but The Golf Practice stood tall at the end of the day, winning the first match 222-240.
Jake Putzel took Low Medalist Honors from the High School tees with an impressive 46, followed by Runner-Up Stephen Bail’s 50.
Lexi Schulman and Carter Kastory tied for Low Varsity Medalist with matching 45s.
Millan Biggs posted a tournament-low 40 for Jr. Varsity Medalist, followed by Danny Klein’s 44.
The next match will be held at Winnetka Golf Club on Saturday, September 19.
