Birdie Basics

Birdie Basics

Create – Connect – Play

Birdie Basics is a story-driven golf instructional program that empowers young golfers by creating a playful and imaginative learning environment.  In this environment, young golfers will learn all aspects of the game: Physical, Social, and Emotional.  Through the Birdie (mascot) and her Birdie-Isms, children will have fun, feel successful and learn the game of golf!

Birdie Basics was developed by Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy in New York City.  Kate is an LPGA member with more than 25 years of experience in early childhood education, exercise science, and, of course, golf. Kate believes young golfers learn best through PLAYful games and stories!
